Our official first decent sized NW swell to kick off the fall came in yesterday. If anyone had a chance to look at Swamis yesterday you'd know it was pretty epic all day long and super crowded. As far as this morning goes, clean conditions with the tide being a little on the fat side. Still some fun sets coming in solid head high lining up with soft shoulders. I didn't really have enough time this morning to paddle out so i took some pictures. Enjoy.

New Oldenburg Pintail Noserider
The story goes, i got this board from a trade i did with my friend Gino. I'm a big fan of pin tail surfboards and longboards and this one is pretty sweet. Josh Oldenburg is an up and coming shaper in San Diego and has some sick boards that he's making. He nailed this one on the head for sure. Noserides high and stable, turns sweet and trims okay. It would trim better with less concave but i like the blended concave for lift and stability on the nose. Good job Josh!
